The new Paid Family and Medical Leave reporting system launched on July 1 and is now live on Secure Access Washington (SAW). As a result of the new technology system, the Employment Security Department (ESD) has extended the deadline for reporting from July 31 to August 31.
The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) has filed a proposed rule that would update our state’s overtime regulations, which have not been revised since 1976. The proposed rule would render more workers eligible for overtime benefits.
DQAC will hold a hearing on rule amendments regarding allowable duties a dentist may delegate to a licensed dental hygienist under general supervision on Friday, July 26.
