Join Our PPE Group Purchasing Order
With the continued heightened need for vetted and affordable PPE due to the novel coronavirus, a public-private collaborative group of healthcare associations and organizations have come together to offer a second opportunity to purchase high quality PPE as a group.
We are inviting all WSDA members to join in our second group buy for the following:
- BYD NIOSH Approved N95 Respirators
- 3 Ply Surgical Masks – ASTM Level 3
- Level 3 Surgical Gowns (Sterile)
- Level 3 Surgical Gowns Disposable (Non-sterile)
This order, you may purchase by the case or by the box. Please note the differences in shipping:
- Orders made by the case will be shipped directly to the purchaser’s location.
- All orders by the box will be shipped to designated pick-up locations – one in Snohomish County, one in Pierce County, one in Spokane County, and potentially other locations still to be determined.
How It Works
To secure the products we must adhere to a quick timeline.
- Wednesday, Dec. 2: Please fill out this pre-order form and select the quantity you would like of each item. Quantity per box and case will be on the form, along with estimated costs that include shipping. This form is non-binding, and payment will not be required at this time, but we request you only complete it if you plan to order as it helps us negotiate for the best final price per unit. The form must be completed by Monday, Dec. 7.
- Thursday, Dec. 3: You are invited to an optional “how to” webinar led by PPE.Exchange to walk you through the purchasing process and answer any questions. The meeting will be at 1:00 PST, Thursday Dec. 3. To pre-register for the Zoom webinar please click here. - Dec. 3-8:Depending on the pre-order amounts we will verify the final pricing, which will include shipping for orders made by the case. Please note that orders outside of Washington state must be purchased by the case only and will incur additional shipping costs and longer shipping times.
- Tuesday, Dec. 8: You will receive an email with the link to securely pay for your purchase, and information on final costs. Billing is customizable and you will handle payment for your order directly with PPE.Exchange. You may pay with a credit card, by bank ACH, or with a wire transfer. Please note there are no added fees from the Co-op on orders and PPE.Exchange is available to answer any payment or order questions as they may arise.
- Friday, Dec. 11: The order closes and all payments must be complete. Orders will then be fulfilled by PPE.Exchange within three weeks.
Participating Associations
Associations currently participating include: Washington State Dental Association (WSDA), Washington State Hospital Association (WSHA), Washington State Medical Association (WSMA), Leading Age WA, Washington Health Care Association, Washington Association for Community Health, Washington State Chiropractic Association, Cascade Eye and Skin, and Optometric Physicians of Washington. Other associations are invited to join as well.
Vendor
We are working with PPE.Exchange to procure direct from the manufacturer and facilitate our group order for bulk pricing. PPE.Exchange is a purchasing website offering healthcare and frontline organizations, associations, government entities, and corporations the opportunity to source critical PPE and place group orders for bulk pricing. PPE.Exchange works with hospital associations across the country, thoroughly vets suppliers and products, and offers quality assurances.
