ADA Shares Updates from HHS on Provider Relief Fund
Last week, the ADA emailed members to clarify concerns about applying for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Provider Relief Fund (PRF). As a reminder, all dentists with a verifiable dental provider Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) are allowed to apply for funding through the extended deadline of Monday, Aug. 3. Attention Employer Dentists: Opportunity to Offset Benefit Charges
Taxable employers will soon be able to submit an application to offset their benefit charges from the first two quarters of 2020, which might reduce their 2021 tax rate. Earlier this year, the Legislature allocated $25 million to the COVID-19 Unemployment Account to help pay off experience rate changes for taxable employers (those who pay unemployment taxes) in Washington state.
