This year, Washington state’s 60-day legislative session adjourned, on time, on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Occurring in even-numbered years, 60-day sessions are the second half of the biennium, designed to supplement the odd-year, 105-day session. While this was a short session, there was no scarcity of bills, and the final days of the session saw legislators working to quickly address the rapidly developing COVID-19 pandemic.
