Ever wonder why a claim was denied or the dental plan consultant asked for more documentation? Dentists want to know why the benefit for the treatment plan agreed on by their patient may be denied. Dentists also want to know why they have to provide so much documentation to adjudicate claims.
In this session, a consultant from a major dental plan will discuss claims submission expectations and the dental consultant’s responsibilities. You will hear a payer’s perspective on why the information and appropriate documentation is necessary to adjudicate claim submissions. You will also hear two representatives from the ADA Council on Dental Benefit Programs react to these requirements and present ADA views based on best practices and policy adopted by the ADA’s House of Delegates.
If you missed the first part of this webinar series from the ADA, you can access it in the ADA Center for Professional Success.
