Obturation Blitz
Natasha Flake, DDS, PhD, MSDThursday, June 20 from 2 – 5 PM

However, there are attributes and limitations of each technique. This workshop will cover contemporary products and techniques available for obturating root canal systems, including variations of warm vertical condensation, carrier-based obturation, and obturation using bioceramic sealer and a single gutta-percha cone.

Safe and Easy Ultrasonic Debridement
Cynthia Fong, RDHFriday, June 21 from 1-4 PM

The “what” will concentrate on distinguishing between the various types of ultrasonic technologies and ultrasonic inserts; the “why” will discuss the changes that have occurred in the treatment of periodontal disease including patient indications and contraindications; and the “how” will be the primary focus of the workshop in which the participant will understand the principles of ultrasonic instrumentation and have the opportunity to apply several differently-designed inserts in order to gain the confidence in their clinical skills.
