Dental Action Day Student Sign-Up

University of Washington dental students are invited to WSDA Dental Action Day, held on Thursday, January 30 in Olympia. In 2025, our state Legislature will once again face many issues that have the potential to fundamentally impact the dental profession.

Dental Action Day gives you a chance to advocate for your future profession as you meet with local dentists and legislators to discuss WSDA's legislative priorities.

Attendee Selection & UW Absence Policy

Student Attendee Selection
Any student interested in attending Dental Action Day can sign up by Wednesday, January 15. WSDA will host up to 60 dental students with sign-ups on a first-come, first-served basis.

UW Dental Action Day Absence Policy
Students selected to attend Dental Action Day will need to request the absence through the usual mechanisms (first- and second-year students contacting faculty directly and third- and fourth-year students submitting the request through the portal). All students are required to confirm their attendance at Dental Action Day by swiping their Husky Card on site.
