WDS Announces CEO Jim Dwyer's Retirement

Mar 13, 2018
WDS just announced CEO Jim Dwyer’s plan to retire, effective February 1, 2019. This is the key time to make it clear to the Delta Dental/WDS Board of Directors that its members will not accept a “business as usual” transition. Sign the petition of no confidence by this Thursday, March 15!
Dwyer’s impending departure does not mean our work in driving change at WDS is done! This is the key time to make it clear to the Delta Dental/WDS Board of Directors that its members will not accept a “business as usual” transition. We say that now is the time for the board to select an executive leader who will drive WDS to become more patient-focused, more respectful of the doctor-patient relationship, and more transparent and responsive to its members.

The best way to send this critically important message is to sign our petition to the board and return by email to petition@wsda.org or by fax to (206) 443-9266. The petition demonstrates that Delta members are demanding change. More than 1,200 Delta member dentists have returned signed petitions, and we need to get more petitions in this week.

The last day to send in signed petitions is this Thursday, March 15.

So, if you haven’t already returned a signed petition, please do so today. And if you have, please encourage your friends and colleagues to join our effort. We are in the home stretch, and the more petitions we receive, the more powerful the message we send!

Sincerely,
