The Department of Health announces that Healthcare Enforcement and Licensing Management System (HELMS) Lite will go live on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

What is HELMS?

HELMS Lite is the first release in the HELMS project. It is a modernized electronic licensing system that will replace the current system used by the Department of Health for the initial application in the professional credentialing process.

What is changing?

With HELMS Lite, applicants will have the ability to access their SAW accounts and complete the initial applications from their mobile phone or device. Additionally, applicants will be able to update their profile, view and delete application drafts, and print payment confirmation receipts. It is also important to note that facility applications are expected to be included by December 2024 as part of the HELMS Credentials release.
